Federation Spring Events Postponed We believe that it is our responsibility to do our part to keep our Tallahassee community safe during this unprecedented viral outbreak. Accordingly, as a result of the outbreak, we have made the decision to postpone all Federation events. We will keep the community updated on the rescheduling of this and other events. Online Jewish Resources and Events PJ Library Resources for Quarantined Families As communities seek to lower the impact of COVID-19, many families are spending a lot of time at home with their kids. One great way to pass time with your little ones is to read PJ Library books! Here are other ideas for ways to stay busy and have fun at home. Every weekday at 10AM, they feature a workout session on their Facebook page, MJCCA Fitness. Tour Israel – Virtually! Nir Buchler of The Jewish Agency for Israel (some of whom you may remember hearing speak at the 2018 parlor meeting) launched a new Facebook group, last week, Virtual Israel, where you can take tours of Israel via videoconference with licensed tour guides. ADL’s Fighting Hate From Home Web Series During the coronavirus outbreak, the ADL is hosting an ongoing web series called “Fighting Hate From Home.” Last Thursday, Oren Segal, who leads ADL’s Center on Extremism, shared some of the alarming virus-related messages spreading antisemitism and racism on both fringe and mainstream online platforms. He and Jonathan Greenblatt, the ADL’s CEO and National Director, also fielded questions about your concerns in this challenging time.
